A larger boat and also one of superior quality: a thirty-three foot craft designed and built to give continuity to the needs of the Yard’s customers. The AB 33 is intended for all those in search of a cruising motor yacht offering high levels of safety, with an excellent fuel economy-performance ratio, still classified in the pleasure craft category for Italian registration purposes, and thus keeping running costs down. The hull and deck lines are of modern, innovative design: although impressing at first glance with its “sleek, curvaceous” forms, this craft still has excellent seaworthiness characteristics. With a deep V hull and very noticeable stern post, it is rugged, reliable and easy to handle even in adverse weather conditions.
The straight shaft propulsion system, ideally sized for the hull’s characteristics, has ample power in all situations and is sparing on fuel. The layout below deck and on the flybridge is conventional: comfortable sleeping accommodation for six people in the owner’s cabin, guest cabin and convertible dinette. The dimensions of the bunks, cupboards, galley and storage compartments are all carefully designed to optimise space without penalising on-board convenience. The hull’s construction includes an initial vinyl ester resin laminate layer to increase the structure’s strength and elasticity. High-class features include the generous outfit of accessories, the use of stainless steel for all deck structures, and superlative finishings, which can be customised on the owner’s request. The craft, created by the Yard in partnership with Studio Ricciarini, features interiors of fine design, completing the class of a vessel which will stand the test of time.
